Women's Health Services
All adult women are encouraged to have a well woman exam every year with their personal care physician or gynecologist. After age 40, the well woman exam usually includes a physical exam and a mammogram. The WHC obstetrical specialists coordinate the care of our pregnant patients, providing prenatal care, specialized ultrasounds, patient education, high risk monitoring, and access to the affiliated hospitals. Womens Health Care (WHC) was established in 2001 by Dr. Rehana Sajjad with a vision. At the heart of this vision was the founders' desire to provide their community with an all-encompassing healthcare facility which not only dealt with its patients in an honest, straightforward fashion, but also genuinely cared for their health and well-being. This vision is what this medical practice is constantly striving towards. Over the years, WHC has been serving the Obstetrics and Gynecological needs of the women in the community and has created an image of quality care. From its humble beginnings as a solo practice, WHC has now well-established itself in the community. WHC is now in the process of bringing on additional providers to accommodate the increased patient load.
Over the years, WHC's operations have become completely electronic and it is well on its way to becoming a paperless office, a state most local private practices have yet to achieve. Making use of EMR has enhanced WHC's image ten-fold not only in the patients view but also for our referring providers. WHC plans to use this high-tech progress into expansion of its operations through all of its locations.
Our aim is to provide a friendly and efficient service of the highest quality. Patients may choose to visit with any of the doctors currently in the Practice. The service provided is carefully planned to meet the special needs of the community and we welcome constructive suggestions on how it may be improved.
